So, Born Ruffians made my Canadian Music Fest. I caught them live on Sunday night at The Phoenix and wow. It was no wonder the crowd of teenage girls were screaming and shouting, "Buddy Holly" as the singer/guitarist definitely has that appeal. Other CMF mentionables include; Cut Throat Britva, Think About Life, Metz and The Leathers*.
*ok. I didn't actually get to see The Leathers at either of their CMF shows but know they would have topped my list of highlights based on the fact that they have kicked my ass with amazing every time I've seen them.
